Virtual Equine Challenges

Your horse. Your rides. Your ribbons.

Not every equestrian competes, but every equestrian deserves to have their time and hard work recognized; that’s the foundation of these challenges.
With Lone Star Equine Events, our goal is to focus on everything we do that fosters the bond between horse and rider. No matter if you ride English or Western, if you’re walk-trot or jumping meter-high fences, if your horse is a beloved trail buddy or your trusted competition partner.
Every equestrian deserves to be celebrated!

The challenge is simple.

The quarterly virtual challenges hosted by Lone Star Equine Events are simple in design: complete 25 rides in 3 months (that’s about two rides per week).
Don’t ride? That’s fine! In addition to riding, we accept purposeful groundwork, liberty work, and driving. The goal is that you and your horse are working together.

Sign up, ride, log, win.

Step one: sign up! Registration is open throughout the entirety of the challenge.
Step two: ride! That’s our favorite part of the challenge.
Step three: log your rides! The challenge log is available once registered. Rides can be backdated to the beginning of the challenge.
Step four: challenge complete! Any registrant who completes and submits a challenge log is eligible for a ribbon.

Wait, did you say a ribbon?

Yes! Your registration fee includes a finisher’s rosette. This is mailed to the address specified on your submitted challenge log (see FAQ for details). Each quarterly challenge has its own theme, and the ribbons are themed accordingly!

How it Works

Each challenge lasts 3 months.

Registration is open throughout the entire challenge period.

Your goal: 25 rides.

Riding is not mandatory. We accept purposeful groundwork, liberty work, and driving as well!

Ride your horse (the fun part!), fill out your log, and submit by the deadline in order to receive your finisher’s rosette!

Ribbon shown is a mock up; final ribbon may differ.

Once you complete your registration, you will be redirected to the Google Drive folder that contains your challenge log.
